50 Years of Lego
Today, Lego celebrates its fiftieth anniversary, and we here at GOOD wanted to say congratulations. There are now 62 Legos for each human being on Earth. Google has honored them (as you can see above). But, the day is bittersweet, because according to this Time article, things have been better at the toy company, since children no longer are creative or have imaginations and just play video games.

Lego Revival
I think we're due for a Lego revival. New parents may have been privy to The White Stripes video "Fell in Love With a Girl," among other pop culture references, and will have been reminded of the importance of the uber-toy. Video games or no video games, Legos will prevail.
