Faith In America
In his "Faith in America" speech, Mitt Romney delivered some powerful words:
"No candidate should become the spokesman for his faith. For if he becomes President he will need the prayers of the people of all faiths."

My vote is for "more compelling" but for perhaps invisible reasons. He merely appears to me less troublesome than his fellow "faith" candidates. Though I repudiate Romney's concept that "freedom needs religion," I also heard some veiled references that lead me to think he would be more even-handed in governing than might be any of the other Republicans. If the Democrats blow this election, I shutter to think how much farther we could be pushed toward a theocracy. A Mormon may at least save us from a broad concensus of the hard-line right.
