Frankenmonster
Al Franken is running for Senator in Minnesota. He'll face off against Republican Norm Coleman. Both men are Jewish, and both men moved to the state from New York. The difference, according to Franken is that he's the only New York Jew running who actually grew up in MInnesota. Whoever started this idea that entertainers can be politicians, this is what you've wrought.

Why not Al?
I'm not exactly sure what the "this" is that we have wrought. It's not like Soupy Sales has just announced. This is Al Franken we're talking about. Like him, love him, loathe him, etc., he's not just an "entertainer." He's been a commentator and force for good for years.
To summarize: Why not Al?

Yes, this is what I've wrought
Yeah, I don't understand your negativity towards Franken. Unlike many celebrities, he's been involved in good for the people of Minnesota and is not a stranger to politics. Why the negativity? He is a great candidate, he's views are enlightening, and if he wins it would be a great addition to Washington.
