Ghostels

BLDGBLOG posted an other worldly collection of photos today. The images come from Sinai Hotels, a show opening Wednesday at Vienna's Arkitekturzentrum. They present jarring views of some never-to-be-finished hotels on Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. In a land of incomparable religious history, these ruins of leisure portend a vision of the afterlife somewhere between heaven and hell: bleak, hot, and timeless.
