NYC: Loving Day Celebration
If you're in New York, please join us on Sunday for a celebration of Loving Day. For those of you not up on your Supreme Court history, Loving v. Virginia was the landmark case that once and for all legalized interracial marriage across the country.
Today, 40 years later, there will be a celebration with free beer and free ice cream (for the first hour). The event is June 10th, at the East River Waterfront on 23rd Street, from 3-7. For more info, go here. And let them know you're coming by emailing an RSVP.
