Please Excuse Our Absence
Please excuse our absence. Today it seemed somehow inappropriate to be making semi-witty comments about somewhat interesting news stories.

Are you kidding?
Genocide in the Middle East and Africa every day for years now? What makes today any different - oh, right, a bunch of white American college kids. I get it...

Appreciate the Gesture
Yes, tragedy strikes everyday and it is wrong. Equally wrong is to respond with bitterness and spite. This moment deserves reverence as do all tragic moments. People are people - regardless of race, class, religion. Let's not pit victims against victims, rather use this as an opportunity to speak out against all human evil - whether it surfaces in our own backyards or exists afar.

Immunity

Spintousa-are YOU kidding?
Have you taken the time to research the profiles of the dead Virginia Tech college students/professors before you make your uninformed, unfeeling comments? Obviously not! You speak from an ignorant place.
These college students and professors were from many different racial backgrounds....they were not all "white"!
You are offensive!
