• New Vegan

  I have been a Vegan for 5 weeks today. I was given the book The China Study and I stopped eating meat and dairy by page 30. I have lost 18 lbs and I feel so much better. The one thing I don't like about being a Vegan is having to defend yourself every time you have a meal with people who eat meat and dairy. I tell people I am not vegan just to avoid the whole debate. If anyone knows of any good cookbooks or sites with quick recipes it would be much appreciated. Cheers!

I do feel that many mistakes have been made in this country but that's what great about a democracy-we can change it! For the better!   Being liberal, you feel guilty for drinking water. Are you "voting for change!" ? To be honest I don't even know what that means. And personally, I don't vote; because despite popular belief, every vote does not count. I live in California, and all my electorates go straight to whatever liberal nut job is running with lies of universal health care and higher minimum wage. I feel liberals have the economy ass backwards too.
