Learned Handmade Plates
breakable
After a few years at Harvard Law School, José Klein felt that the human stories at the heart of legal doctrine were being overlooked. So he picked up some magic markers and chose dinner plates as his canvas. The result was Learned Handmade Plates (it’s a Learned Hand joke; look it up). Now you can eat off of Antonin Scalia giving his famous “Sicilian hand gesture” or a drawing meant to evoke the Pentagon Papers case. Verdict: Harvard folk art was long overdue.
