McCain bans ALL abortions
response to Andrew Price's post Meet The Candidates
There has been a change in McCain's position on abortions. He is looking more like a dictator every day. THE CHANGE: NO ABORTIONS, EVER for any reason, even in cases of incest or rape.
Women would have no control over over their bodies under a McCain dictatorship.

McCain bans ALL abortions
Just because the Supreme Court decided that Abortion was okay doesn't make it so. Back in the Nineteen Century, the Supreme Court also decided that separate but equal was also the law concerning education for Blacks/Whites. Later they saw the error of their decision and changed it for a better one. In this day and age, abortions are primarily performed for those individuals that decide that they will not be bothered bout birth control. Where is the right of the child being killed? It is time to hold all doctors for trial that perform Abortions.

McCain bans ALL abortions
Obviously if women were victims of rape or incest then they didn't have control of their own bodies at that moment. Hmmmmm. Unfortunate things happen in life but their is rarely ever a pregnancy formed from rape due to the stress and injury the body is subjected to. However, if a pregnancy does occur why should the baby have to sacrifice his/her life because of it? If the mother of the child doesn't want the baby she can put it up for adoption. The only person who should pay with their life in case of rape is the rapest.

Put your money where your mouth is
This is just so typical of Obamabots: talk trash with no back up. Do your homework and research issues before you "speak and remove any doubt" [about your ignorance].
McCain was asked whether he would reinstate the Reagan era rule that prevents international family planning clinics that receive federal funds from discussing abortion. “I don’t believe they should advocate abortion with my tax dollars,” McCain said, adding that he opposed abortion EXCEPT in cases of rape and incest. He was then asked how he would determine whether someone had in fact been raped. McCain responded, “I think that I would give the benefit of the doubt to the person who alleges that.”

I Can't Believe It
Two wrongs don't make a right. Since when does getting raped or being the victim of incest make killing innocent life o.k.? I would encourage you to visit www.righttolife.org and watch an abortion. If you can't see the sickness of it all than your just plain inhumane.

double standard
It's not so simple. If John McCain wants to support abortion, that's fine. I will debate him all night, but I support everyone's opinion as long as it's backed by some sort of logic, reason, or moral standard. No one will ever agree. It is, however, completely UNACCEPTABLE to swing both ways and contradict yourself in the process. You cannot support the right to life of a fetus but discard the value of life of a terrorist suspect who could be innocent. It's distressing to find such double standards invoked in every aspect of this campaign and even every aspect of our lives. The unborn child and the innocent terrorism suspect are one and same. Support life or don't, don't pick one when it's convenient for your set of moral standards. You should always challenge your moral standards and scrutinize them, so that when the real test comes, you are 100% sure in your moral rectitude and are willing to give your life for it without regret.

Women Do Have Choices
I am a woman, and I am strongly against abortion, even in cases of incest or rape. Just because a crime is committed doesn't mean it is okay to murder an innocent unborn child.
But that doesn't compromise the majority of abortions, in fact, it is a very tiny percentage. Most abortions occur because a woman or young lady, had sex and in her fear, decides that since abortion is available that it would be the best choice.
Unfortunately, what a majority of women experience post abortion is grief, anger, loss, and guilt. Many of them turn to drugs and/or alcohol, and it can negatively affect their relationships with family and friends. Then there can be physical problems from the abortion.
I have done some research in an attempt to write a book about how negatively abortion impacts women, and I have spoken with women who still feel grief and pain 20 years later!
Abortion is murdering an innocent child and it can destroy the souls of women. Does this sound like a logical choice?

By The Way...
When do innocent babies who cannot defend or speak for themselves ever get a "choice?"

If you think a fetus is part of a woman's body...
Then you are uninformed. A fetus has distinct DNA, its own unique fingerprint, everything that clearly demarcates it as nowhere near part of a woman's body. If you don't like being a woman, fine. That doesn't affect the reality that when you are pregnant, there's someone else inside you. It doesn't matter how the baby got there. Just because something bad happened to someone (rape, incest) doesn't give them a right to hurt someone else. It's impossible to argue with this logic. If someone steals my wallet, do I have the right to choose to take yours? Nope--it's my problem and life's tough all over. You claim choice is good, but deny another human the option of life. Most people don't commit suicide; most people are glad to be abortion survivers. Are you glad?

Not your body
The body of the child is not the womans. She has no right to kill it. She made her choice when she chose to have sex. Stop using murder as a tool against irresponsible behavior.
