Politics
response to danielriley's post Settled For Some...Not So Much For Others
Hillary's "big night" only netted her 12 more delegates than Barack from these 4 states. Obama maintains a delegate lead of nearly 100, including the Superdelegates and there is rumor that 50 previously undeclared Superdelegates will throw their support to him this week. That will give him the clear lead in both the regular and superdelegates. It's statistically improbale that Hillary can come out of the next months primaries with near enough delegates to beat Barack. Which means we just have to endure more of her negative attacks and fear mongering that may weaken Obama and cause damage to the Democratic party in a time when the Republicans have already united behind their candidate.

Media
response to Patrick James's post Why Treehugger Sucks
Treehugger isn't sponsoring the whale-naming campaign, they're just reporting on Greenpeace doing so. I don't read Good (the magazine or the blog) to find out who/what sucks. My 9 year old tells me what sucks on a daily basis. I read Good for information that's positive and forward thinking. Can we stick to that?

First dog food, now toothpaste. It's really easy kids. Buy local. Buy organic. Problem eliminated!

Check out the April 27 article in the NY Times, "Saddled With Legacy of Dioxin, Town Considers an Odd Ally: The Mushroom". Mushrooms are being used to clean up the site of a former mill in Fort Bragg, CA.
