More Lies From A Con Artist
response to Lindsay Utz, Sam Slovick, and Stefan Nadelman's post On Skid Row: Introduction
A work of total fiction. He is the same person who wrote an article in the LA Weekly claiming no one was triyng to get kids off Skid Row when the Union Rescue Mission was desperately working to get their place for women and children in the Valley permitted. But rather than supporting this project like many of us were doing - he choose to lie about what was happening to make a better story for himself. Again, Sam Slovick had a very clear choice in that article - either try to rally public support for a program that was getting kids off of Skid Row - or lying about what was happening to make himself look good. He is the worst type of poverty pimp who exploits - and continually lies about - the homeless for his personal financial gain.

Why The Hater?
What a great expose on the downtown homeless problem. I dont know why one would take it as a personal attack on the union mission? I didnt see that. I did see a brilliant expose of the mayor and city goverment attempt to put a band aid on a hatchet wound. I bet you could make your point without accusing Sam Slovick of doing wrong. Brilliant journalism at its finest. Cant wait to see the next chapter.

Con Artist? Really?
I'm sure your martyrdom will raise 1/100th the awareness that Sam's expose has... Actually when I hear self righteous pseudo preachers like yourself attacking a piece like this, all it really does is makes me want to find out with whom you are affiliated and NOT volunteer or spend one iota of energy to a cause run by your ill mannered and contemptuous personality.
