The Music Industry

response to  James Barber and Johanna Goodman's post Broken Record

You had many good points, and I must say I enjoyed your thoughts. I love music, and I have always had a love-hate relationship with the those that "make it available to me". I agree that Myspace goes to an extreme with no standards, and how does one really find what is good in the Myspace world? But Myspace brings great access to listeners, and gives a platform to artists. I dont like the standards of the record companies or Myspace, but music lovers will endure... Beyond the Billboard charts, the record companies, and myspace we must find our collective standard with compromising the art.
