This is an excellent antidote to the art world (at least here in NY) that suffers from issues of celebrity and nepotism, and where it is extremely difficult to get a foot in the door. Similar to Artist's Space's Night of 1000 Drawings, people have the opportunity to participate in a world that can often be intimidating. It will be interesting to see how Art House will edit themselves in the future while continuing in this method.
