This shows what a corrupt leader can do with an isolationist society. They have done similar things in the former USSR, present day Cuba, Myanmar, China. Where the effects of globalization has been squelched, the leadership has to potential to make themselves like God himself, exalting themselves to the status of a god that their people worship, but they have pulled the wool over their innocent peoples' eyes. Why can't leaders just think of the value of human life, think of others enough to not kill for ridiculously selfish gain? I get tired of oppressive deceitful regimes lying and killing without real reason.
