  I love Michelle Obama, She is smart and she says what a lot of people think, but in this current jingoistic administration are afraid to say. Laura bush always looks like she is on sedatives or something. Yeah, Michelle will get attacked by the right-wingnuts, but what else is new. Remember when Rush attacked 13-year-old Chelsea? Calling her the family dog???!!! I mean the right can hit some amazing lows. Do you notice how the right NEVER talks about McCain's virtues? They always attack Democrats and especially Obama and make ridiculous claims, but they never talk about what they plan to do to make the country better.

  I'm not sure why McCain thinks the surge is working. As I understood it last summer, wasn't the surge supposed to last a couple of months? Doesn't it mean by definition, it has failed? I'm also glad Obama is going to Iraq, however, I'm more glad he cares about the home front and what we are all going through here, too.

  We've had very 'experienced' candidates before. Bush supposedly had business experience, and Cheney had energy experience. Rumsfeld, too, was around the block a few times. It did not guaruntee a good adminstration. in order to avoid making Bushesque mistakes maybe McCain shouldn't simply rely on his 'experience'.
