The story thus far:

- Pseudo Slang is Emcee Sick, producer/emcee Tone Atlas, and contributor/touring Dj Cutler. Currently based in Buffalo and Chicago, PS has gone from being closely followed locally to being recognized worldwide for creating music that steps outside contemporary rap standards. Under the umbrella of Baby Steps Hip Hop, Inc., Pseudo Slang released their debut Catalogue October 2004, general interest in PS grew very quickly and in August 2005 the group signed with Fat Beats Records. Their lead single "Broke & Copasetic" featuring songstress Vinia Mojica is buzzing across the globe. The Pseudo Slang full-length album "We’ll Keep Looking" featuring Vinia, Grap Luva, Dj Tommee, and more TBA is slated for a 2007 release, in addition to various mixtape and compilation appearances. Pseudo Slang will be touring extensively in the states and abroad and has performed over 50 US cities, rocked in and around Denmark and toured Canada with hip hop legend Jeru the Damaja. For those not familiar with Xtracts of Slang and Pseudo Intellectuals, this merged group of Pseudo Slang explores conversational narratives about post-industrial-blue-collar living over bop/soul-inspired music. The classic hip hop overtones set PS’s distinct new sound boldly against the dominantly drab backdrop of current music.
