Less Taxes?
response to appleblush's post Blah, blah, war, blah...
Oh yeah, Right! Less taxes for the RICH!! I forgot!
And more cannon fodder for his never ending war from the poor and middle class. The rich kids don't have to go because their daddies can afford to send them to college so that THEY can learn how to be the ruling class.
I agree, I think that the torture addled his brain. Let's not forget that he was 294th in his class of 299. Just what we need, another dummy in the White House.

Thats Naval Academy
You probably couldnt get in there if someone paid your way!
Actaully, its real easy to go to college...the gvt gives grants as well as thousands of private institutions and corporations do as well...
Then you can get a gvt supported school loan through Sallie Mae to pay any extra bills/tuition. Then I suggest a part time job.

Reading your whine you are probably to lazy to go or care, your just another one of those I hate America-ns, to lazy to make your own fortune, but instead want others to give it to you...you sound like that gay guy farther down the original blog saying...I want, I want, I want.
Well go get it, this America, no-one should be giving "it" to you!!!

No one HAS to go to war.
I come from an "upper class" family, and I am in the Army, and a lot of my friends come from the lower class. Who cares? Running around the Civilian world, some people respect what I say because of my car, but that is stupid. That's what I like about the military. Money doesn't matter. At all. So, don't run around saying that the military is only "poor people" because A) It's not true B) It doesn't matter. We are brave and Strong enough to serve, so where does money come in to play there?
As for college, I saw people at school who's families were well below the poverty level, were offered full rides into respectable schools. Where your life goes is YOUR decision. If someone WANTS to go to school, then they can. Yes, they might have to pay it off for quite a while, but they can still go. Saying that college is simply too unafforable is the most wretched excuse I have ever heard. You could even go to a community college, cheap and get a lot of the credits completed which will reduce your price for a more respected school, not that a community college isn't respected, a degree is a degree.
As for you saying ". The rich kids don't have to go because their daddies can afford to send them to college so that THEY can learn how to be the ruling class." Please, tell me, who, right now is FORCED into the military. No one HAD to go. There is no draft right now, so quit whining about the rich because you're jealous and bitter. If you aren't monetarily successful, it is your OWN fault, don't blame it on anyone else but yourself, certainly not the rich. They haven't done ANYTHING to you, and we certainly aren't a "Ruling" class. So. knock the bitterness shit off, and go get a real job, and shut the hell up.
Furthermore, I do hope you weren't serious about that last statement, don't you even DARE bring up his POW status against him. That is a horrible, horrible thing to say, and brings your credibility to an all time low, and I DO hope, you were being sarcastic, about him being 294th out of 299, and him being stupid. I'm not sure if you can do the math. That makes him number 5 in a class of two hundred and ninety-nine. I figured I'd spell it out for you, just in case you couldn't read big numbers like 299. That is actually quite an impressive rank, and I'm sure you wouldn't even come slightly close to that number. This is proven by your lack of grounded arguments, just you looking for reasons to bitch and moan. As I suggested before, go get a real job, and maybe a life, it might help your intellect just a little bit more, and perhaps a book or two?
