response to Lindsay Utz, Sam Slovick, and Stefan Nadelman's post On Skid Row: Drugs
The power of video to help people enter new worlds and understand complex issues is just beginning to be exploited.
Great work GOOD.
At See3, we get asked every day from nonprofits why they should invest in video production. As TV and the web come together, the answer is -- you have to! If you want anyone to pay attention.

Technology
response to Morgan Clendaniel's post Get a Life
Great article. I am constantly asked by our nonprofit clients at See3 whether they should spend time with Second Life.
I tell these organizations that with the number of blogs conversing about your issues, Facebook and other social networks with large active user bases, and what you need to do on your own website and in creating good quality marketing material Second Life should be the last thing on your list. There is no penalty for not being an early adopter here. The opposite.
As I have written on See What's Out There, Second Life can wait. For now, get a first life.

response to Patrick James's post Torture-That-Isn't-Torture?
We at See3 (http://www.see3.net) created some viral videos for Amnesty on the issue of torture. You can see them here:

This is terrific. And sure, people who make films have agendas. But hardly fiction.
Video like this can bring attention to important social issues.
We look at Nonprofit Video as the future for those who really want to tell their stories and rally support to their cause.
