What I see a lot on this page and on other blogs really troubles me. The greatest threat to the American way of life is not some random terrorist with a bomb. It is lack of faith in the democratic system, faith that despite the imperfect nature of elected officials, they will serve their nation. This lack of faith is why democracy fails in so many places around the world. It's hard to keep that faith after these past 8 years, but if we give up, sectarian violence will be in our homes. So for once, instead of the pessimistic complaining, tell your least unpalatable candidate what you want and how to make America better for you.
