Business & Money

Adam Smith would be proud (i think). The invisable hand could use some whipping I figure. Not just a good idea one of the best have heard in a while. Power to the people (consumer) not the producer.

Culture
response to Rudy Adler's post Project 004
My friend Ryan and Hannah are quite poor, but that has nothing to do with why they should receive some love in the mail. They read stellar pieces of literature together like East of Eden and sew much of their own clothes. They are humble, well cultured and laid back. The most amazing thing about this couple though is how they always give bits joy away in seed form so it can later grow in other people. I have never seen two people care so little for money and yet actively care for those around them. I picture them as unsung working class heroes instilling joy in the lives of others. I want us to thank them by giving them some small things that will help them further enjoy life.
a Venus Fly Trap (from the grow your own packages in toy stores)
a box of jacks
a Kings of Convenience Vinyl ( they have a record player)
an underwater disposable camera
a box of stationary
two glasses of POM white peach tea
a package of temporary tattoos (cool ones with birds please)
political party animal stickers from your first issue
They will love this and your love will be passed on

I like it needless to say. This video looks at a crazy political situation in a refreshing way, must of all the video is beautifully done to give you smile. Thank you to the animator and the inventor of the segway.

You will be proud to note I am a teachers assistant who was recently inspired by your article and have started a program at an elementary school to address some of the issues. To be completely honest I liked your article though before you ever wrote it. I had similar less organized thoughts created from working at the doorsteps of power, your local elemetary school. And everyone likes it when someone eplains well what you were already thinking.

It felt like something out of Grapes of Wrath. It painted a picture with human face and gave a lens into the cruelty of American cyclical poverty.
Its the first any film on the internet has made me shed a tear.
