My best friend has taken on an amazing feat for the summer. From the day of her students' graduation (she is a high school teacher) to the day before she has to report back to school for the fall, Shelby will be the nature director at a summer camp for children with disabilities. These exceptional children work to raise and care for animals with disabilities. A predeparture care package full of GOODies needed to make this summer incredible for both her and her campers would be a perfect match for this project. The following items would be perfect for her care package:
- A bottle of SPF 30 waterproof sunscreen
- A few purple bandanas
- A book on Arizona plants and wildlife
- A camelback water pack
- An FM transmitter for her iPod for the long drives to and from Arizona (this is only on the wishlist... everything else would be wonderful!)
- Animal stickers to share with her campers for the summer
- A container of cheeseballs
- Size 6 women's hiking boots
